Welcome to my blog, where I share my passion for photography and my love for travel. My name is Jeamy Schaling, a 31-year-old from Muiden, a small town near Amsterdam where I have lived my entire life. Growing up, I was always fascinated by the power of a photograph to capture a moment in time and tell a story. But it wasn't until I met my partner in 2015 that I truly discovered my passion for photography.

We started traveling together, and I found myself constantly drawn to capturing the beauty and wonder of the world through my lens. I quickly discovered that abandoned buildings held a special allure for me, their forgotten grandeur and eerie beauty providing endless inspiration. But my passion for photography doesn't stop there, I also love capturing the beauty of nature, from the majestic landscapes to the small details that often go unnoticed.

I have spent the last few years traveling the world, camera in hand, and I have learned so much about photography and the world. I have been to so many different places and seen so many different things, and I am excited to share my experiences with you.

From the stories of my adventures, whether it's the abandoned building I've explored, the natural beauty I've captured or the culture I've experienced and the people I've met. To the lessons I have learned, from technical aspects of photography to the way I see the world, to the tips and recommendations for those who want to explore the world themselves. Hey, have you ever felt like you're stuck in a rut and just need to get out and explore the world? Well, that's exactly how I felt a few years ago. And let me tell you, it was the best decision I ever made. I packed my bags, grabbed my camera and set off on a journey that would change my life forever.

I've been to so many amazing places, seen things that I never thought were possible and met the most incredible people. But it's not just about the places I've been, it's about the lessons I've learned along the way. And that's why I created this blog, to share all of my experiences and insights with others who are looking for a little bit of adventure in their lives.

One of my most memorable trips was to Southern Italy. I had heard about a small town called Craco, that was abandoned and forgotten, and I knew I had to see it for myself. When I arrived, I was in awe. The crumbling buildings, the silence, it was like nothing I had ever experienced before. I spent hours wandering the streets, capturing the beauty of this forgotten city and it was then, that I realized the importance of preserving history.

But it wasn't just the photography that I fell in love with. It was the stories behind the ruins, the people who once called it home, and the way it made me see the world differently. And that's what I want to share with you, my readers.
